hi i'm 22, my boyfriend of over 2 years is 30. when we first started dating we had sex constantly. currently we go months at a time without having sex or even fooling around. i feel like he has lost his passion for me and don't feel to good about myself because of this. i'm always the one to initiate and am consistently getting turned down. i'm not an unattractive person- i'm 5'3" 110 pounds and workout. we've discussed this before and he believes the problem is stress and psychological. he says he feels uncomfortable with sex and himself. we don't have money for therapy. please i am open to any ideas on how to improve our situation. i am at my wits end.

Does your boyfriend smoke or drink? Is he overweight? Does he exercise regularly? Is he on any medication? Is he having sex by himself? Any evidence of porn?

If there are no medical problems, I'm not sure I'd believe it was due to stress. First of all, it's often not possible for someone to "know" the "reason" for lack of interest in sex.

Do you still spend good time together enjoying each other's company? Hold hands?

OK..feels uncomfortable with sex and himself? This is certainly a deeper routed issue here. He may also be going through an early mid life crisis, yes there can be more than one. It is probably not you at all s do not get down, this will certainly not help the situation. It also may be an issue with you being younger esp. if he it 30, he is starting to loose another 10 years of his life.
