Re: Irregular Period

I am not an expert but I do not think it will be a problem. First you should see your doctor and determine the reason your periods are irregular. The underlying physical cause (if there is one)could make it harder for you to get pregnant....I am 25 and my periods have always been irregular (the start date as well as the length and amount.) Like I said I am no expert and I think you should definitely find out if there may be a serious physical condition causing your period to irregular.
I am by no means an expert. However I do like to offer suggestions and my opinion.

Re: Irregular Period

I had irregular periods in my 20's, got pregnant quickly (took 3 months), I used to have headaches too with my irregular cycles, somtimes up to day 40 even. But never missing. After 1st child, I had trouble conceiving (but probalby unrelated to periods, more of internal issue after C-section) but in my 30's my periods were perfect-ever 28 days, and went on to have another 5 kids, pretty much each attempt gave a pregnancy. I was more fertile in my 30-40's than my 20's. I have learned Fertility is a strange thing. Not always the same with every woman!

Re: Irregular Period

I have severe pain during my periods . I take pills regularly but do it half heartedly. my body may become accustomed to those pills .Any other way to reduce pain during periods?

Re: Irregular Period

lucyjeny, sometimes doing light exercise will help with the pain. Have you been checked out by your GYN.

Re: Irregular Period

lucyjeny, When I was discussing this topic with my doctor he suggested me to use a new product called Allay Period Relief patch, I was little curious what it was and learned more about it. My doctor told me that I could significantly limit the use of pain relievers by using this product. I found this to be very intriguing and decided to check it out for myself.

Re: Irregular Period

It is a rather good sized patch with a small battery hooked to a wire coil in the patch. It emits a low electric charge that is supposed to alleviate menstrual cramps.

Re: Irregular Period

As the moderator has told Allay Period Relief Patch introduces undetectable electrical current into damaged cells. This recharges those cells and stops release of pain and inflammatory mediators. I used it for the last three months and found it to be effective. Maybe you will also find it good.
