Itching and Burning after sex

I have been sexually active for several years now. The last time I had sex, yesterday, I experienced an intense burning all around my vaginal opening that went away after about an hour. When I woke up this morning, it was itchy and on the inside folds of my outer lips there are spots that are itchier than the rest. DId i stretch my lips and is that what is creating the pain? I had sex about three weeks ago and the same thing happened. I recently changed birth contol and these past two times i havent used a condom, which i have never done before. I am wondering if it is doing something down there, or if i am allergic to sperm? The last time this happened i thought i had a yeast infection and i got over the counter medication and it seemed to have worked. i just looked down there and everything seems to be fine except for a little redness around the vaginal opening. I am also getting a lot of liquidy clear discharge that has no odor. anyone know what could be wrong? Im thinking its just from having sex and getting everything "ripped" open again. thank you.

It might be a good idea to have Gyn examine you. You will get a diagnoses and treatment for the itch and pain.

Re: Itching and Burning after sex

It is important to get a proper diagnosis. Using too much over the counter yeast medication can irritate the skin if there is no infection. Birth control pills deplete the estrogen supply and that can contribute to the irritation. Or you could have some type of infection or bacteria that you can't see with the naked eye. You should not be experiencing burning, so I would see your gyn.
