Sex during Safe Period

Hi,
I need to know if my wife can be conceived if we have sex during the safe period. That means we have sex on the 5th day of 1st day period? Ejaculation during intercourse and withdrawal make any difference? Thanks in advance

The only true safe days are the first and second day of a woman's period. However, if she's tracking her cycles and following ovulation with temperature monitoring, and she knows her cycles aren't unusually short, then you should be fine.
