Sex was always painful for me. Contributed to the demise of my first marriage. Finally realized at an annual that I had been tearing every time I tried to have intercourse. My interest level is high. I selft lubricate and use Astroglide. I am multi-orgasmic. Why do I tear? My GYN was no help. I tried creams, dermatologists, and other specialists. I've bought about every sized dildo to try to gradually widen the area, which believe me is embarrassing, but somewhat helpful. Still, it's not enough.I contacted a doctor in LA and he performed a Z-plasty to try to widen the area, but it was unfortunately unsuccessful. I am scheduled for a skin graft in April. He believes this will fix the problem forever. I realize how difficult it is to get help with this problem, and am beginning to realize how many women it probably affects.
