I am having a problem with the fact that my guy's penis is too wide and it won't go in. We have tried all kinds of moisturizers and nothing helps. My doctor has suggested a vaginal cream. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what has helped. I thought I was done with menopause but the "hot flashes and night sweats" have returned. I am just not comfortable with the vaginal cream. It is like I have shrunk down there! Is that possible? :confused:

If you're past menopause and feel like you're shrinking, you might want to ask your doctor about getting an estring. It's a ring that sits inside your vagina all the time. You can't feel it and you can have sex with it in. It gives a constant very low dose of estrogen. It's mostly topical - not systemic and the dose is so low you don't have to worry about HRT side effects.

I don't know if it will solve your problem, but it's been a nice bit of help for me.

If a woman has not been sexual for a long period of time she will shrink up...The vagina must be kept lubricated to stay healthy...I have heard this story often..That is why masturbating in women as they age is so important...If, you have had a period of being non sexual during menopause, this could cause this problem...I have heard of women using dilators to help them out again when they are older and once again have met a man and want to have sex....Hope this helps...Take care, Caroline
