Gradual decrease of clitoral orgasm intensity

Hello everyone,
I am a new member in this forum.I always had good clitoral orgasms. My orgasmic intensity has greatly reduced one year after the birth of my daughter.I still have orgasms, but i can hardly feel them,as if it is happening far away from my body. The decline was gradual ,almost one year after vaginal delivery.I have no problem with arousal and lubrication only the orgasms are very weak.My nipple sensitivity has also reduced.Does vaginal birth and epiostomy can lead to orgasmic dysfunction? My testosterone, prolactin and thyroid levels are all normal and i am 32 yrs old.It is extremely frustrating to get aroused but not have orgasms

If anyone has any replies or suggestions i will be very greatful.Sorry for the long post.

Re: Gradual decrease of clitoral orgasm intensity

Hi jhoom.

I have the same problem but have never had children. Just wanted to direct you to this thread - it's actually in the men's health section (I'm female) but it's a thread I have only just found after having this problem for about 3 years now, and I have felt so much better having people to talk to about it.

Turns out after reading this that there's a name for the problem - sexual anhedonia or ejaculatory anhedonia (which I don't know if you could apply to women) but it seems that it is so much more common in men hence there being a men's thread on it, but I wonder if you may find more answers in there and join us in helping to find out what's wrong (it's a 57 page long thread so there seem to be several men suffering from it!).

Take care and hope to see you over there.
