I was interested in getting surgery to improve the appearance of my vagina. I am scared to loose sensation as the sensation in that area is already barely there.I feel that my labia is loose and wrinkled. I have had ine childbirth and during sex I feel like damaged goods. I would love to hear feedback from anyone who has had the procedure or just has an opinion.

I'd be worried too. I can understand being concerned about being too loose, but you can fix that with exercise. You can exercise your PC muscles with vaginal cone weights or a great device called Gyneflex and get back the inner tone. Good tone might also help with sensation.<P>But I think cosmetic surgery is a little out there.

Be careful with surgery! I remember seeing a Berman episode where they talked about women having cosmetic surgery on their genitals. Most of the women either had extra long labia or large hoods which they felt were unattractive. Almost all of the women said they lost some sexual sensitivity and in some extreme cases some women couldn't orgasm after the surgery. <P>Go with Zane's recommendation and try to get your tightness back by exercising the area. As far as how things look down there please try to accept the way things are and remember that they come in all sizes and shapes and they all feel good to the man.

I've been thinking lately that it could be a great thing to have some type of resource that had pictures of women's genitals. Not like porn, just clear, accurate, perhaps clinical portraits of many different female genital types. It seems there are so many women feeling insecure about their appearance "down there", that it could be reassuring to see lots of different ones. We're not like men, we can't just get a surreptitious glance in any bathroom or locker room whenever we want. Very few of us have much basis for comparison. Of course comparison can always lead to problems for some people, but I think lots of women would find it enlightening. We could learn a little "vive la difference" from the experience. Personally, I would find it fascinating. Does anyone know of such a resource? Someone mentioned pictures in a genital piercing salon. That's interesting, but not exactly a place many people frequent. Is there anything online that's not just porn junk?<BR>

Greg, think for a minute. The only people who can afford to have pix of female genitalia are people who are making major money off of the website. You'd be hotlinked faster than you could say boo. And bye-bye bandwidth.
