I am 28 years old. I have been married for 7 months now and we are trying to conceive a child. This is proving unsuccessful so far. My libido is normally extremely low, to the point that intercourse with my husband feels like a chore. It seems like 13 days ago, I am thinking of sex CONSTANTLY. I cannot focus at work, driving, or watching TV. My daily life is being affected drastically. My husband has been out of town for the majority of this, so I have been unable to indulge any of these impulses. My first impulse was that I may have become pregnant and my hormones were out of wack, but I have since taken a pregnancy test, which was negative and had a short (4 days) period.
The impulses have been so strong that it has me placing myself in situations where I am inclined to cheat. I feel like I have self control but I am worried now. I love my husband very much and we both would enjoy an increase in our sexual activity, but I feel like there is potentially a problem with this amount. Is there something physically wrong with me? What could be causing this? Help!!

We suggest you see your gyn. and have the doctor test your hormone levels. Wanting to conceive and not having your husband available probably is uppermost in your mind. We know the mind is a powerful sex stimulator.If the urge for sex is so strong try to calm it with masturbation,if you want to. Wait for your husband don't make a problem when you just have to wait. And do see your DR.
