help w/ alcohol/benzodiazapines and female orgasm

My girl usually has no problems with achieving an orgasm. However, occasionally, she likes to get intoxicated, and she never drinks without taking a few extra klonapin (which she is prescribed). She says the alcohol makes her ill if she doesn't take the benzos. I'm not sure if it is the alcohol or the extra benzodiazapines causing the issue, but during these times it is impossible for her to have an orgasm, and she gets really frustrated. When she is intoxicated, she does get amorous, which leads to the aforementioned frustration. I really would like to know which it is likely to be, and if there is absolutely anything that can counteract this affect. I do understand that the combination of substances is not recommended based off of the black box warning on her prescriptions that state not to use alcohol while taking the medicates. But she has been fine other than the orgasm issue.

Very likely she can't orgasm because of the combination of the medicines and the alcohol. The alcohol alone depresses your nerve and mental systems. Maybe she should ask her doctor about taking that combination.

Re: help w/ alcohol/benzodiazapines and female orgasm

yeah, that's pretty much what I've found in my research. On the days she wants to drink, and she feels she has to take the klonapin with it, there's pretty much nothing that we would be able to do. I tried a LOT of foreplay and teasing and building it up last night. I did the best I could to no avail. I was hoping there was something that she could take that would counteract the affects, like Viagra does with men. I know she has the same issues along with most women when taking MDMA. It's unfortunate that such substances that really get woman in that sort of mood, like the Alcohol and X, also have that type of side affect without any way to counter act it. It just seems men have it easier when it comes to orgasms.

Can she have sex without the alcohol and medicines. Maybe she should try it and see if the orgasms return.

yes, she definitely can. it's only about once a week that she drinks. i just don't like seeing her get frustrated, so, the bottom line is we should just avoid sex or any kind of intimate caressing that might lead to frustration for her during these times.

or she should not take alcohol AND the medicine together. Like the warning in the black box says .Justr because she has not had a bad reaction yet does not mean that she is safe .
