Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

Hello everyone, I am new to this board. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, but I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome. I was just wondering if there was anyone else who has been through this either successfully or otherwise.
Thanks,
BBurlingham

Re: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

I have had Polycystic Ovarian Disease and Endometriosis for at least 10 years. I have had two laporoscopies and taken Lupron shots. I was able to conceive within the first month after we finished the shots. We now have two children, ages 7 and 2 1/2.
I am still having a lot of pain and my dr. suggested having a hysterectomy. I am afraid of this because of hormone therapy. Can anyone give me advice on that?
------------------
Kim Scott
Director II

[Note: This message has been edited by NEWSHE Moderator]
