TOPIC: Can't feel orgasm

2 years, 5 months ago #5453

Can't feel orgasm

My friend called me after her boyfriend had to TELL her she'd orgasmed. She was born without a clitoris and has had to mentally work up to being aroused. She's 18, on no meds, and is in perfect health. She had a brief bout of anemia 3 or 4 years ago, but managed to get it under control within a few months. No history of sexual abuse or the likes.

She does have feeling down there, but just has no ability to feel her orgasms. Help??

Re: Can't feel orgasm

Suggest to your 18 year old friend that she should see a gynecologist for an exam and possibly treatment.

Re: Can't feel orgasm

I'm 20 years old and i don't know if i've had an orgasm or not. I can't really tell if i had an orgasm or not. I'll be having sex and it feels good and the i can feel my g-spot being hit but i don't feel the orgasm. the only thing that usually happens is my body starts to shake. is that a sign of an orgasm? my legs tend to shake uncontrollably.

Re:Can't feel orgasm

i have the same problem. the only way i know is if my boyfriend tells me, he says it gets really warm almost hot and a lot wetter (sorry for the details but i want to know whats going on!). I dont feel a release or a build up or anything like that it just feels constantly really good. i'm on the pill but no other medication. i've also been anemic but would that affect it? i really want to know why i cant feel it

Re:Can't feel orgasm

If you can't feel a build-up or a release and it just feels good its possible you have not reached an orgasm. Have you ever had an orgasm that you could identify as such.It might be a good idea to see your Gyn. to be tested and possibly treated. In the meantime here is a link to excerpts from a book by Beverly Whipple. And expert on orgasms.

Re:Can't feel orgasm

I'm a virgin, but I masturbate a lot. My boyfriend and I just tried giving each other "hands," but we spent forty minutes trying to get me to come, it never worked so we gave up. We were too tired for me to even give him a hand job.

I always come very easily through masturbating with my hand.
We're both young and have never done anything sexual with someone else before. What can he do to help our next time?

Re:Can't feel orgasm

Shelby121 your boyfriend perhaps doesn't know just where to caress you . When you masturbate you know the exact spots and pressure to give yourself to get the response you want. 40 min. seem a long time to work at it. It may make you numb or insensitive . Here is a link to an article that may give you some insight into how an orgasm works.
