I am 33 and was on the pill for 8 years because of my acne. I stopped taking the pill 10 months ago and within the last 4 months, my acne has returned and seems to be slowly worsening. My husband and I are trying for a baby so there is virtually nothing on the market that I'm able to take medicinally to clear up my skin without it harming a baby should I fall pregnant. I have tried Duac and have been using Proactiv for 4 weeks, all without any satisfactory results. Each day I am more dishearted when I realise I have a new spot or spots. Is there absolutely anything out there that I can use to clear up my skin without it being harmful to a baby if I fall pregnant? Please help.

Have you asked your Gyn if there is something safe you can use?Maybe a visit to a dermatologist for something that would not interfere with a pregnancy.
