balls hit the floor

I have some cones and the hardest part seems to be the beginning. I can't hold them in to retract the cones. I wear my undies to keep it in. any suggestions.

what exactly is a cone? I'm looking it up on the internet and I can only find a big vibrating cone (which looks pretty cool) but it doesn't seem to fit the description of what you are talking about doing with it.
