TOPIC: testosterone cream

testosterone cream

I'm 51 and started using a testosterone cream 3 months ago to help increase my sexual drive. (also using estrogen)The first month, not much change but by the 2nd month, I felt like a new woman or rather the one I left behind. Now into the 3rd month and I am having a harder time reaching orgasm.
My doctor told me to apply the cream to my labia and clitoris as well as my inner thighs. Actually I did not get much info from the doctor and the cream did not come with any directions. (it was compounded at a local drugstore)
Any ideas?
thanks.

Re: testosterone cream

I've been using it for several years and I use it on my inner labia and clitoris. It will result in you having a bigger clitoris, but I think it's more effective. I don't mind the increase in clitoral size - though bigger doesn't mean more nerve endings. It's just the fleshy part that grows.

I watch (and minimize) the dose by monitoring my facial skin. If I start to feel oilier than normal, I cut back a little. It's a balancing act and I don't think a prescribed dose is going to be accurate or appropriate for everyone.

Re: testosterone cream

Eva_m is the clitoral growth permanent? Also has it caused any change in the size of your labia?
I am by no means an expert. However I do like to offer suggestions and my opinion.

Re: testosterone cream

My clitoris is definitely larger and though it may not have more nerve endings I am feeling more stimulated. I didn't mention that I was not only having trouble with feeling 'unsexual' but that my bladder was beginning to drop. I have a very physical job where I am picking children up all day. I was thinking I was going to have to have surgery to correct it. I am very happy to say that I have almost completely self corrected that problem - between the hormones and my Kegel Master (love it) plus new toys, my bladder is back up where it should be.
Still it is harder for me to reach orgasm and I feel like my blood pressure is a little high. I am using a 2% testosterone cream.

Re: testosterone cream

Orgasm is not only a physical thing, but more mental. Try using a mask and have your mate gently touch sensitive areas of your body.
